975eca0e6a Add a new SBExpressionOptions::SetLanguage() API (NFCI) (#89981)
that separates out language and version. To avoid reinventing the wheel
and introducing subtle incompatibilities, this API uses the table of
languages and versiond defined by the upcoming DWARF 6 standard
(https://dwarfstd.org/languages-v6.html). While the DWARF 6 spec is not
finialized, the list of languages is broadly considered stable.

The primary motivation for this is to allow the Swift language plugin to
switch between language dialects between, e.g., Swift 5.9 and 6.0 with
out introducing a ton of new language codes. On the main branch this
change is considered NFC.

38f8fcea34 [lldb][ClangExpressionParser] Don't by default enable Objecitve-C support when evaluating C++ expressions (#87767)
This patch attempts to decouple C++ expression evaluation from
Objective-C support. We've previously enabled it by default (if a
runtime existed), but that meant we're opting into extra work we only
need to do for Objective-C, which complicates/slows down C++ expression
evaluation. Of course there's a valid use-case for this, which is
calling Objective-C APIs when stopped in C++ frames (which Objective-C++
developers might want to do). In those cases we should really prompt the
user to add the `expr --language objc++` flag. To accomodate a likely
frequent use-case where a user breaks in a system C++ library (without
debug-symbols) but their application is actually an Objective-C app, we
allow Objective-C support in C++ expressions if the current frame
doesn't have debug-info.

This fixes https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/issues/75443 and allows
us to add more `LangOpts.ObjC` guards around the expression evaluator in
the future (e.g., we could avoid looking into the Objective-C runtime
during C++ expression evaluation, which we currently do
unconditionally).

b14220e075 [lldb][X86] Fix setting target features in ClangExpressionParser (#82364)
Currently, for x86 and x86_64 triples, "+sse" and "+sse2" are appended
to `Features` vector of `TargetOptions` unconditionally. This vector is
later reset in `TargetInfo::CreateTargetInfo` and filled using info from
`FeaturesAsWritten` vector, so previous modifications of the `Features`
vector have no effect. For x86_64 triple, we append "sse2"
unconditionally in `X86TargetInfo::initFeatureMap`, so despite the
`Features` vector reset, we still have the desired sse features enabled.
The corresponding code in `X86TargetInfo::initFeatureMap` is marked as
FIXME, so we should not probably rely on it and should set desired
features properly in `ClangExpressionParser`.

This patch changes the vector the features are appended to from
`Features` to `FeaturesAsWritten`. It's not reset later and is used to
compute resulting `Features` vector.

466ea89fc6 [lldb] Fix failures when evaluating C++ expression and loading modules
This patch tentatively fixes the various test failures introduced
following 0ea3d88bdb:

https://green.lab.llvm.org/green/view/LLDB/job/as-lldb-cmake/6316/

From my understanding, the main issue here is that we can't find some headers
when evaluating C++ expressions since those headers have been promoted
to be system modules, and to be shipped as part of the toolchain.

Prior to 0ea3d88bdb, the `BuiltinHeadersInSystemModules` flag for in
the clang `LangOpts` struct was always set, however, after it landed,
the flag becomes opt-in, depending on toolchain that is used with the
compiler instance. This gets set in `clang::createInvocation` down to
`Darwin::addClangTargetOptions`, as this is used mostly on Apple platforms.

However, since `ClangExpressionParser` makes a dummy `CompilerInstance`,
and sets the various language options arbitrarily, instead of using the
`clang::createInvocation`, the flag remains unset, which causes the
various error messages:

```
AssertionError: 'error: module.modulemap:96:11: header 'stdarg.h' not found
   96 |    header "stdarg.h" // note: supplied by the compiler
      |           ^
```

Given that this flag was opt-out previously, this patch brings back that
behavior by setting it in lldb's `ClangExpressionParser` constructor,
until we actually decide to pull the language options from the compiler driver.

89cd0e8c26 [lldb] Allow evaluating expressions in C++20 mode
This patch allows users to evaluate expressions using
`expr -l c++20`. Currently DWARF keeps the CU's at
`DW_AT_language` at `DW_LANG_C_plus_plus_14` even
when compiling with `-std=c++20`. So even in "C++20
programs" expression evaluation will by default be
performed in `C++11` mode for now.

Enabling `C++14` has been previously attempted at
https://reviews.llvm.org/D80308

There are some remaining issues around evaluating C++20
expressions. Mainly, lack of support for C++20 AST nodes in
`clang::ASTImporter`. But these can be addressed in follow-up
patches.

This class cannot be reused for LLVM Flang. That's why default simd alignment

Previous attempt: https://reviews.llvm.org/D138496 was wrong because

If we wanted to calculate the default alignment for PPC and we hadn't specified

6eaedbb52f Make CompilerType safe
When a process gets restarted TypeSystem objects associated with it
may get deleted, and any CompilerType objects holding on to a
reference to that type system are a use-after-free in waiting. Because
of the SBAPI, we don't have tight control over where CompilerTypes go
and when they are used. This is particularly a problem in the Swift
plugin, where the scratch TypeSystem can be restarted while the
process is still running. The Swift plugin has a lock to prevent
abuse, but where there's a lock there can be bugs.

This patch changes CompilerType to store a std::weak_ptr<TypeSystem>.
Most of the std::weak_ptr<TypeSystem>* uglyness is hidden by
introducing a wrapper class CompilerType::WrappedTypeSystem that has a
dyn_cast_or_null() method. The only sites that need to know about the
weak pointer implementation detail are the ones that deal with
creating TypeSystems.

14735cab65 [lldb] [gdb-remote] Add eOpenOptionReadWrite for future gdb compat
Modify OpenOptions enum to open the future path into synchronizing
vFile:open bits with GDB. Currently, LLDB and GDB use different flag
models effectively making it impossible to match bits. Notably, LLDB
uses two bits to indicate read and write status, and uses union of both
for read/write.  GDB uses a value of 0 for read-only, 1 for write-only
and 2 for read/write.

In order to future-proof the code for the GDB variant:

1. Add a distinct eOpenOptionReadWrite constant to be used instead
   of (eOpenOptionRead | eOpenOptionWrite) when R/W access is required.

2. Rename eOpenOptionRead and eOpenOptionWrite to eOpenOptionReadOnly
   and eOpenOptionWriteOnly respectively, to make it clear that they
   do not mean to be combined and require update to all call sites.

3. Use the intersection of all three flags when matching against
   the three possible values.

This commit does not change the actual bits used by LLDB.

a8350ce79d [lldb] Add support for using variables with C++ keywords names in non-C++ expressions
LLDB is currently always activating C++ when parsing expressions as LLDB itself
is using C++ features when creating the final AST that will be codegen'd
(specifically, references to variables, namespaces and using declarations are
used).

This is causing problems for users that have variables in non-C++ programs (e.g.
plain C or Objective-C) that have names which are keywords in C++. Expressions
referencing those variables fail to parse as LLDB's Clang parser thinks those
identifiers are C++ keywords and not identifiers that may belong to a
declaration.

We can't just disable C++ in the expression parser for those situations as
replacing the functionality of the injected C++ code isn't trivial. So this
patch is just disabling most keywords that are exclusive to C++ in LLDB's Clang
parser when we are in a non-C++ expression. There are a few keywords we can't
disable for now:

* `using` as that's currently used in some situations to inject variables into the expression function.
* `__null` as that's used by LLDB to define `NULL`/`Nil`/`nil`.

Getting rid of these last two keywords is possible but is a large enough change
that this will be handled in follow up patches.

Note that this only changes the keyword status of those tokens but this patch
does not remove any C++ functionality from the expression parser. The type
system still follows C++ rules and so does the rest of the expression parser.

There is another small change that gives the hardcoded macro definitions in LLDB
a higher precedence than the macros imported from the Objective-C modules. The
reason for this is that the Objective-C modules in LLDB are actually parsed in
Objective-C++ mode and they end up providing the C++ definitions of certain
system macros (like `NULL` being defined as `nullptr`). So we have to move the
LLDB definition forward and surround the definition from the module with an
`#ifdef` to make sure that we use the correct LLDB definition that doesn't
reference C++ keywords. Or to give an example, this is how the expression source
code changes:

Before:
```
 #define NULL (nullptr) // injected module definition
 #ifndef NULL
 #define NULL (__null) // hardcoded LLDB definition
 #endif
```

After:
```
 #ifndef NULL
 #define NULL (__null) // hardcoded LLDB definition
 #endif
 #ifndef NULL
 #define NULL (nullptr) // injected module definition
 #endif
```

definition.

A nice follow up would be to refactor LLDB's persistent variables to not just be
a pair of type and name, but also contain some way to obtain the original
declaration and source code that declared the variable. That way we could
actually make a full diagnostic as we would get from redefining a variable twice
in the same expression.

02114e15da [lldb] Allow limiting the number of error diagnostics when parsing an expression
While debugging another bug I found out that we currently don't set any limit
for the number of diagnostics Clang emits. If a user does something that
generates a lot of errors (like including some long header file from within the
expression function), then we currently spam the LLDB output with potentially
thousands of Clang error diagnostics.

Clang sets a default limit of 20 errors, but given that LLDB is often used
interactively for small expressions I would say a limit of 5 is enough. The
limit is implemented as a setting, so if a user cares about seeing having a
million errors printed to their terminal then they can just increase the
settings value.

Extract all the provider related logic from Reproducer.h and move it
into its own header ReproducerProvider.h. These classes are seeing most
of the development these days and this reorganization reduces
incremental compilation from ~520 to ~110 files when making changes to
the new header.
