f2d32ddcec [lldb] Sink StreamFile into lldbHost
StreamFile subclasses Stream (from lldbUtility) and is backed by a File
(from lldbHost). It does not depend on anything from lldbCore or any of its
sibling libraries, so I think it makes sense for this to live in
lldbHost instead.

43ad521f2f [lldb][AArch64] Add reading of TLS tpidr register from core files
7e229217f4 did live processes, this does
core files. Pretty simple, there is an NT_ARM_TLS note that contains
at least tpidr, and on systems with the Scalable Matrix Extension (SME), tpidr2
as well.

tpidr2 will be handled in future patches for SME support.

This NT_ARM_TLS note has always been present but it seems convenient to
handle it as "optional" inside of LLDB. We'll probably want the flexibility
when supporting tpidr2.

Normally the C library would set tpidr but all our test sources build
without it. So I've updated the neon test program to write to tpidr
and regenerated the corefile.

I've removed the LLDB_PTRACE_NT_ARM_TLS that was unused, we get
what we need from llvm's defs instead.

efa43d785e [lldb][AArch64] Add the tpidr2 TLS register that comes with SME
This changes the TLS regset to not only be dynamic in that it could
exist or not (though it always does) but also of a dynamic size.

If SME is present then the regset is 16 bytes and contains both tpidr
and tpidr2.

Testing is the same as tpidr. Write from assembly, read from lldb and
vice versa since we have no way to predict what its value should be
by just running a program.

03d8cd1d72 [lldb][AArch64] Add support for SME's SVE streaming mode registers
The Scalable Matrix Extension (SME) adds a new Scalable Vector mode
called "streaming SVE mode".

In this mode a lot of things change, but my understanding overall
is that this mode assumes you are not going to move data out of
the vector unit very often or read flags.

Based on "E1.3" of "Arm® Architecture Reference Manual Supplement,
The Scalable Matrix Extension (SME), for Armv9-A".

The important details for debug are that this adds another set
of SVE registers. This set is only active when we are in streaming
mode and is read from a new ptrace regset NT_ARM_SSVE.
We are able to read the header of either mode at all times but
only one will be active and contain register data.

For this reason, I have reused the existing SVE state. Streaming
mode is just another mode value attached to that state.

The streaming mode registers do not have different names in the
architecture, so I do not plan to allow users to read or write the
inactive mode's registers. "z0" will always mean "z0" of the active
mode.

Ptrace does allow reading inactive modes, but the data is of little
use. Writing to inactive modes will switch to that mode which would
not be what a debugger user would expect. So lldb will do neither.

Existing SVE tests have been updated to check streaming mode and
mode switches. However, we are limited in what we can check given
that state for the other mode is invalidated on mode switch.

The only way to know what mode you are in for testing purposes would
be to execute a streaming only, or non-streaming only instruction in
the opposite mode. However, the CPU feature smefa64 actually allows
all non-streaming mode instructions in streaming mode.

This is enabled by default in QEMU emulation and rather than mess
about trying to disable it I'm just going to use the pseduo streaming
control register added in a later patch to make these tests more
robust.

A new test has been added to check SIMD read/write from all the modes
as there is a subtlety there that needs noting, though lldb
doesn't have to make extra effort to do so.

If you are in streaming mode and write to v0, when you later exit
streaming mode that value may not be in the non-streaming state.
This can depend on how the core works but is a valid behaviour.

For example, say I am stopped here:
mov x0, v0.d[0]

And I want to update v0 in lldb. "register write v0 ..." should update
the v0 that this instruction is about to see. Not the potential other
copy of v0 in the non-streaming state (which is what I attempted in
earlier versions of this patch).

Not to mention, switching out of streaming mode here would be unexpected
and difficult to signal to the user.

49b3c3355f [lldb][x86_64] Support fs_base/gs_base register in Linux
Summary:
[lldb][x86_64] This patch adds fs_base/gs_base support for Linux x86_64.

Originally, I plan to split the diff into two parts, one to refactoring lldb_xxx_x86_64 => x86_64::lldb_xxx across code base and the other one for adding fs_base/gs_base, but it turns out to be a non-trivial effort to split and very error prone so I decided to keep a single diff to get feedback.

GDB supports fs_base/gs_base registers while LLDB does not. Since both linux coredump note section and ptrace
supports them it is a missing feature.

For context, this is a required feature to support getting pthread pointer on linux from both live and dump debugging.

Implementation wise, we have initially tried `#ifdef` approach to reuse the code but it is introducing very tricky bugs and proves
hard to maintain. Instead the diff completely separates the registers between x86_64 and x86_64_with_base so that non-linux related
implementations can use x86_64 registers while linux uses x86_64_with_base.
Here are the list of changes done in the patch:
* Registers in lldb-x86-register-enums.h are separated into two: x86_64 and x86_64_with_base
* fs_base/gs_base are added into x86_64_with_base
* All linux files are change to use x86_64::lldb_xxx => x86_64_with_base::lldb_xxx
* Support linux elf-core:
	* A new RegisterContextLinuxCore_x86_64 class is added for ThreadElfCore
	* RegisterContextLinuxCore_x86_64 overrides and uses its own register set supports fs_base/gs_base
	* RegisterInfos_x86_64_with_base/RegisterInfos_x86_64_with_base_shared ared added to provide g_contained_XXX/g_invalidate_XXX and RegInfo related code sharing.
* `RegisterContextPOSIX_x86 ::m_gpr_x86_64` seems to be unused so I removed it.
* `NativeRegisterContextDBReg_x86::GetDR()` is overridden in `NativeRegisterContextLinux_x86_64` to make watchpoint work.

8402ad2310 Add a generic Process method to dump plugin history.
I need to call this to figure out why the assert in
StopInfoMachException::CreateStopReasonWithMachException is triggering, but
it isn't appropriate to directly access the GDBRemoteCommunication there.  And
dumping whatever history the process plugin has collected during the run isn't
gdb-remote specific...

7e229217f4 [lldb][AArch64] Add thread local storage tpidr register
This register is used as the pointer to the current thread
local storage block and is read from NT_ARM_TLS on Linux.

Though tpidr will be present on all AArch64 Linux, I am soon
going to add a second register tpidr2 to this set.

tpidr is only present when SME is implemented, therefore the
NT_ARM_TLS set will change size. This is why I've added this
as a dynamic register set to save changes later.

6a8e2538af Add a fatal error for debug builds when disagreement about stepping
On one CI bot we're seeing a failure where the kernel reports that
we have completed an instruction step (via a mach exception) and
lldb doesn't think the thread was doing an instruction step.  It
takes the conservative approach of stopping at this point, breaking
tests.

This patch adds an llvm fatal error for debug builds where it will
log the state of the thread and the AArch64 ESR, to confirm what
the hardware reported as the exception so we can double check the
kernel's interpretation.

I'll change this to an lldbassert without the runtime details in
the string once we have an idea what is happening.  the hope is
that this will get hit on the CI bot soon.

efd64c2f25 [LLDB][RISCV] Add RVV register infos
RVV stands for "RISC-V V Extension", which adds 32 vector registers, and seven unprivileged CSRs (vstart, vxsat, vxrm, vcsr, vtype, vl, vlenb) to a base scalar RISC-V ISA.

The base vector extension is intended to provide general support for data-parallel execution within the 32-bit instruction encoding space, with later vector extensions supporting richer functionality for certain domains.

This patch adds the definitions of RVV registers in `RegisterInfos_riscv64.h`, whose purpose is to provide support (such as reading, writing, and calculating the offsets) for future register-related functions.

57c8fee1b9 [lldb] Add dummy field to RegisterInfo for register flags use later
This structure is supposed to be trivial, so we cannot simply do
"= nullptr;" on the new member. Doing that means you are non trivial,
regardless of whether you emulate the previously implied constructor somehow.

The next option is to update every use of brace initialisation.

Given that this is some hundreds of lines, this change just adds a dummy
pointer that is set to nullptr. Subsequent changes will actually use that
to point to register flags information.

Note: This change is not clang-format-ted because it changes a bunch of
areas that are not themselves formatted. It would just add noise.

e38b0fa83a Remove AArch64 out of MIPS watchpoint-skip, doc wp description
Watchpoints from lldb-server are sent in the stop info packet
as a `reason:watchpoint` and `description:asciihex` keys; the
latter's asciihex has one to three integer values.  This patch
documents the purpose of those three different numbers, and
clarifies the behavior on MIPS with the third number which is
outside the range of any watched memory range means to silently
skip the watchpoint.

lldb was previously using this silently skip watchpoint behavior
for AArch64 as well, but in the case of AArch64 we see a watchpoint
address outside of a watched memory range when the write BEGINS
before the watched memory range, but extends in to it.  We don't
want to silently skip these.

933d3ee600 [lldb] Drop RegisterInfoInterface::GetDynamicRegisterInfo
"Dynamic register info" is a very overloaded term, and this particular
instance of it was only used for passing the information about the
"orig_[re]ax" pseudo-register on x86 through some generic code. Since
both sides of the code are x86-specific, I have replaced this with a
more direct route.

c0df412ad2 [lldb] Fix build on older FreeBSD
Commit 392d9eb03a added a dependency on
FPE_FLTIDO which was only defined in FreeBSD main on May 19, 2022 and
is not in all supported releases. Just define it if it's missing as we
could use a debugger compiled on an older system to debug a newer one.

ee232506b8 [lldb] Move UnixSignals creation into Platform plugins
The high level goal of this change is to remove lldbTarget's dependency
on lldbPluginProcessUtility. The reason for this existing dependency is
so that we can create the appropriate UnixSignals object based on an
ArchSpec. Instead of using the ArchSpec, we can instead take advantage
of the Platform associated with the current Target.

This is accomplished by adding a new method to Platform,
CreateUnixSignals, which will create the correct UnixSignals object for
us. We then can use `Platform::GetUnixSignals` and rely on that to give
us the correct signals as needed.

8d024a79ea Fix a problem with "watchpoint triggers before" watchpoint handling.
We need to step the watchpoint instruction in these cases, but the
when we queued the ThreadPlanStepOverWatchpoint to do this, we didn't
make it a Controlling plan.  So if you are stepping, this plan returns as
though it were a utility plan, and the stepping plan keeps going.

This only partially fixes the problem on Darwin; there's another bug
with reporting a watchpoint when we're instruction single stepping over
an instruction that triggers a watchpoint.  The kernel reports the
"single step completed" but not the watchpoint hit.  So this commit
also refactors the test into a part that works (at least on Darwin) and
a part that still fails.

We may have to adjust the test result expectations for other systems after
this fix.

0107513fe7 [lldb] Implement CrashReason using UnixSignals
By adding signal codes to UnixSignals and adding a new function
where you can get a string with optional address and bounds.

Added signal codes to the Linux, FreeBSD and NetBSD signal sets.
I've checked the numbers against the relevant sources.

Each signal code has a code number, description and printing options.
By default you just get the descripton, you can opt into adding either
a fault address or bounds information.

Bounds signals we'll use the description, unless we have the bounds
values in which case we say whether it is an upper or lower bound
issue.

GetCrashReasonString remains in CrashReason because we need it to
be compiled only for platforms with siginfo_t. Ideally it would
move into NativeProcessProtocol, but that is also used
by NativeRegisterContextWindows, where there would be no siginfo_t.

b1f4f06ded [LLDB][LoongArch] Delete the s9 register alias definition
In RegisterInfos_loongarch64.h, r22 is defined twice. Having an extra array
member causes problems reading and writing registers defined after r22. So,
for r22, keep the alias fp, delete the s9 alias.

The PC register is incorrectly accessed when the step command is executed.
The step command behavior is incorrect.

This test reflects this problem:

f09cf34d00 [Support] Move TargetParsers to new component
This is a fairly large changeset, but it can be broken into a few
pieces:
- `llvm/Support/*TargetParser*` are all moved from the LLVM Support
  component into a new LLVM Component called "TargetParser". This
  potentially enables using tablegen to maintain this information, as
  is shown in https://reviews.llvm.org/D137517. This cannot currently
  be done, as llvm-tblgen relies on LLVM's Support component.
- This also moves two files from Support which use and depend on
  information in the TargetParser:
  - `llvm/Support/Host.{h,cpp}` which contains functions for inspecting
    the current Host machine for info about it, primarily to support
    getting the host triple, but also for `-mcpu=native` support in e.g.
    Clang. This is fairly tightly intertwined with the information in
    `X86TargetParser.h`, so keeping them in the same component makes
    sense.
  - `llvm/ADT/Triple.h` and `llvm/Support/Triple.cpp`, which contains
    the target triple parser and representation. This is very intertwined
    with the Arm target parser, because the arm architecture version
    appears in canonical triples on arm platforms.
- I moved the relevant unittests to their own directory.

And so, we end up with a single component that has all the information
about the following, which to me seems like a unified component:
- Triples that LLVM Knows about
- Architecture names and CPUs that LLVM knows about
- CPU detection logic for LLVM

Given this, I have also moved `RISCVISAInfo.h` into this component, as
it seems to me to be part of that same set of functionality.

If you get link errors in your components after this patch, you likely
need to add TargetParser into LLVM_LINK_COMPONENTS in CMake.

In order to support single step debugging, add EmulateInstructionLoongArch
to implement the software Single Stepping. This patch only support the
simplest single step execution of non-jump instructions.

6d4ab6d921 [LLDB][RISCV] Add RV32F instruction support for EmulateInstructionRISCV
Add:

- RV32F instruction set.
- corresponding unittests.

Further work:

6eaedbb52f Make CompilerType safe
When a process gets restarted TypeSystem objects associated with it
may get deleted, and any CompilerType objects holding on to a
reference to that type system are a use-after-free in waiting. Because
of the SBAPI, we don't have tight control over where CompilerTypes go
and when they are used. This is particularly a problem in the Swift
plugin, where the scratch TypeSystem can be restarted while the
process is still running. The Swift plugin has a lock to prevent
abuse, but where there's a lock there can be bugs.

This patch changes CompilerType to store a std::weak_ptr<TypeSystem>.
Most of the std::weak_ptr<TypeSystem>* uglyness is hidden by
introducing a wrapper class CompilerType::WrappedTypeSystem that has a
dyn_cast_or_null() method. The only sites that need to know about the
weak pointer implementation detail are the ones that deal with
creating TypeSystems.

6faa345da9 [LLDB] Pass const RegisterInfo& to RegisterValue::SetValueFromData
Familiar story, callers are either checking upfront that the pointer
wasn't null or not checking at all. SetValueFromData itself didn't
check either.

So make the parameter a ref and fixup the few places where a nullptr
check seems needed.

47b76631e7 [lldb] Use std::size instead of llvm::array_lengthof
LLVM contains a helpful function for getting the size of a C-style
array: `llvm::array_lengthof`. This is useful prior to C++17, but not as
helpful for C++17 or later: `std::size` already has support for C-style
arrays.

Change call sites to use `std::size` instead.

4fc7e9cba2 [LLDB][RISCV] Make software single stepping work

- `EmulateInstructionRISCV`, which can be used for riscv32 and riscv64.

Note: Compressed instructions set (RVC) was still not supported in this patch.

edc77353da [lldb/crashlog] Improve exception reporting for interactive mode
This patch improve exception reporting when loading a crash report in a
scripted process. Now, we parse the `exception` dictionary from the
crash report use it the create a higher fidelity `MachException` stop info.

This patch also updates the test to reflect that change.
