247b7d0684 [cmake] Add LLVM_FORCE_VC_REVISION option (#67125)
This patch adds a LLVM_FORCE_VC_REVISION option to force a custom
VC revision to be included instead of trying to fetch one from a
git command. This is helpful in environments where git is not
available or is non-functional but the vc revision is available
through some other means.

541f5c4a6d Flang implementation for COMPILER_VERSION and COMPILER_OPTIONS intrinsics
This revision implements the Fortran intrinsic procedures COMPILER_VERSION and COMPILER_OPTIONS from the iso_fortran_env module.
To be able to set the COMPILER_OPTIONS string according to the original compiler driver invocation, a string is passed to the frontend driver using the environment variable FLANG_COMPILER_OPTIONS_STRING, for lack of a better mechanism.

4ad7279392 [flang] CUDA Fortran - part 1/5: parsing
Begin upstreaming of CUDA Fortran support in LLVM Flang.

This first patch implements parsing for CUDA Fortran syntax,
including:
 - a new LanguageFeature enum value for CUDA Fortran
 - driver change to enable that feature for *.cuf and *.CUF source files
 - parse tree representation of CUDA Fortran syntax
 - dumping and unparsing of the parse tree
 - the actual parsers for CUDA Fortran syntax
 - prescanning support for !@CUF and !$CUF
 - basic sanity testing via unparsing and parse tree dumps

... along with any minimized changes elsewhere to make these
work, mostly no-op cases in common::visitors instances in
semantics and lowering to allow them to compile in the face
of new types in variant<> instances in the parse tree.

Because CUDA Fortran allows the kernel launch chevron syntax
("call foo<<<blocks, threads>>>()") only on CALL statements and
not on function references, the parse tree nodes for CallStmt,
FunctionReference, and their shared Call were rearranged a bit;
this caused a fair amount of one-line changes in many files.

More patches will follow that implement CUDA Fortran in the symbol
table and name resolution, and then semantic checking.

7cf1608b4d [flang] Rework handling of non-type-bound user-defined I/O
A fairly recent introduction of runtime I/O APIs called OutputDerivedType()
and InputDerivedType() didn't cover NAMELIST I/O's need to access
non-type-bound generic interfaces for user-defined derived type I/O
when those generic interfaces are defined in some scope other than the
one that defines the derived type.

The patch adds a new data structure shared between lowering
and the runtime that can represent all of the cases that can
arise with non-type-bound defined I/O. It can represent
scopes in which non-type-bound defined I/O generic interfaces
are inaccessible, too, due to IMPORT statements.

The data structure is now an operand to OutputDerivedType() and
InputDerivedType() as well as a data member in the NamelistGroup
structure.

6c16aa4f67 [flang] A rework of the cmake build components for in and out of tree builds.
In general all the basic functionality seems to work and removes some redundancy
and more complicated features in favor of borrowing infrastructure from LLVM
build configurations. Here's a quick summary of details and remaining issues:

  * Testing has spanned Ubuntu 18.04 & 19.10, CentOS 7, RHEL 8, and
MacOS/darwin. Architectures include x86_64 and Arm. Without
access to Window nothing has been tested there yet.

  * As we change file and directory naming schemes (i.e.,
capitalization) some odd things can occur on MacOS systems with
case preserving but not case senstive file system configurations.
Can be painful and certainly something to watch out for as any
    any such changes continue.

  * Testing infrastructure still needs to be tuned up and worked on.
Note that there do appear to be cases of some tests hanging (on
MacOS in particular). They appear unrelated to the build
    process.

  * Shared library configurations need testing (and probably fixing).

  * Tested both standalone and 'in-mono repo' builds. Changes for
supporting the mono repo builds will require LLVM-level changes that
are straightforward when the time comes.

  * The configuration contains a work-around for LLVM's C++ standard mode
passing down into Flang/F18 builds (i.e., LLVM CMake configuration would
force a -std=c++11 flag to show up in command line arguments. The
current configuration removes that automatically and is more strict in
following new CMake guidelines for enforcing C++17 mode across all the
    CMake files.

  * Cleaned up a lot of repetition in the command line arguments. It
is likely that more work is still needed to both allow for
customization and working around CMake defailts (or those
inherited from LLVM's configuration files). On some platforms agressive
optimization flags (e.g. -O3) can actually break builds due to the inlining
of templates in .cpp source files that then no longer are available for use
cases outside those source files (shows up as link errors). Sticking at -O2
appears to fix this. Currently this CMake configuration forces this in
release mode but at the cost of stomping on any CMake, or user customized,
    settings for the release flags.

  * Made the lit tests non-source directory dependent where appropriate. This is
done by configuring certain test shell files to refer to the correct paths
whether an in or out of tree build is being performed. These configured
files are output in the build directory. A %B substitution is introduced in
lit to refer to the build directory, mirroring the %S substitution for the
source directory, so that the tests can refer to the configured shell scripts.
