f8d7ab8cf8 Return a shared_ptr from ScratchTypeSystemClang::GetForTarget()
The current interface theoretically could lead to a use-after-free
when a client holds on to the returned pointer. Fix this by returning
a shared_ptr to the scratch typesystem.

75d268d1fa When loading mach-o corefile, new fallback for finding images
When lldb is reading a user process corefile, it starts by finding
dyld, then finding the dyld_all_image_infos structure in dyld by
symbol name, then getting the list of loaded binaries. If it fails
to find the structure by name, it can't load binaries. There is
an additional fallback that this patch adds, which is to look for
this object by the section name it is stored in, if the symbol name
lookup fails.

5ad6ed0e55 Change the meaning of a UUID with all zeros for data.
Previously, depending on how you constructed a UUID from data or a
StringRef, an input value of all zeros was valid (e.g. setFromData)
or not (e.g. setFromOptionalData). Since there was no way to tell
which interpretation to use, it was done somewhat inconsistently.
This standardizes the meaning of a UUID of all zeros to Not Valid,
and removes all the Optional methods and their uses, as well as the
static factories that supported them.

fc54427e76 [lldb] Refactor DataBuffer so we can map files as read-only
Currently, all data buffers are assumed to be writable. This is a
problem on macOS where it's not allowed to load unsigned binaries in
memory as writable. To be more precise, MAP_RESILIENT_CODESIGN and
MAP_RESILIENT_MEDIA need to be set for mapped (unsigned) binaries on our
platform.

Binaries are mapped through FileSystem::CreateDataBuffer which returns a
DataBufferLLVM. The latter is backed by a llvm::WritableMemoryBuffer
because every DataBuffer in LLDB is considered to be writable. In order
to use a read-only llvm::MemoryBuffer I had to split our abstraction
around it.

This patch distinguishes between a DataBuffer (read-only) and
WritableDataBuffer (read-write) and updates LLDB to use the appropriate
one.

2fc38b2b7b [lldb] Report debugger diagnostics as events
Report warnings and errors through events instead of printing directly
the to the debugger's error stream. By using events, IDEs such as Xcode
can report these issues in the UI instead of having them show up in the
debugger console.

The new diagnostic events are handled by the default event loop. If a
diagnostic is reported while nobody is listening for the new event
types, it is printed directly to the debugger's error stream.

c34698a811 [lldb] Rename Logging.h to LLDBLog.h and clean up includes
Most of our code was including Log.h even though that is not where the
"lldb" log channel is defined (Log.h defines the generic logging
infrastructure). This worked because Log.h included Logging.h, even
though it should.

After the recent refactor, it became impossible the two files include
each other in this direction (the opposite inclusion is needed), so this
patch removes the workaround that was put in place and cleans up all
files to include the right thing. It also renames the file to LLDBLog to
better reflect its purpose.

808142876c [lldb][NFC] Fix all formatting errors in .cpp file headers
Summary:
A *.cpp file header in LLDB (and in LLDB) should like this:
```
//===-- TestUtilities.cpp -------------------------------------------------===//
```
However in LLDB most of our source files have arbitrary changes to this format and
these changes are spreading through LLDB as folks usually just use the existing
source files as templates for their new files (most notably the unnecessary
editor language indicator `-*- C++ -*-` is spreading and in every review
someone is pointing out that this is wrong, resulting in people pointing out that this
is done in the same way in other files).

This patch removes most of these inconsistencies including the editor language indicators,
all the different missing/additional '-' characters, files that center the file name, missing
trailing `===//` (mostly caused by clang-format breaking the line).

6e3b0cc2fb [lldb][NFC] Rename ClangASTContext to TypeSystemClang

This commit renames ClangASTContext to TypeSystemClang to better reflect what this class is actually supposed to do

`clang::ASTContext` and a `ClangASTContext` in clang (which sometimes causes Clang people to think I'm fiddling
with Clang's ASTContext when I'm actually just doing LLDB work).

I also have plans to potentially have multiple clang::ASTContext instances associated with one ClangASTContext so
the ASTContext naming will then become even more confusing to people.

This is the command I ran and I to fix and format the code base:

	-fix ~/dev/llvm-project/lldb/.* \
	-format \

	-p ~/llvm-builds/debug-ninja-gcc
```
NOTE: There were also changes to `llvm/utils/unittest` but I did not
include them because I felt that maybe this library shall be updated in
isolation somehow.
NOTE: I know this is a rather large commit but it is a nobrainer in most
parts.
05cfdb0eac Allow direct comparison of ConstString against StringRef
Summary:
When we want to compare a ConstString against a string literal (or any other non-ConstString),
we currently have to explicitly turn the other string into a ConstString. This makes sense as
comparing ConstStrings against each other is only a fast pointer comparison.
However, currently we (rather incorrectly) use in several places in LLDB temporary ConstStrings when
we just want to compare a given ConstString against a hardcoded value, for example like this:
```
if (extension != ConstString(".oat") && extension != ConstString(".odex"))
```
Obviously this kind of defeats the point of ConstStrings. In the comparison above we would
construct two temporary ConstStrings every time we hit the given code. Constructing a
ConstString is relatively expensive: we need to go to the StringPool, take a read and possibly
an exclusive write-lock and then look up our temporary string in the string map of the pool.
So we do a lot of heavy work for essentially just comparing a <6 characters in two strings.
I initially wanted to just fix these issues by turning the temporary ConstString in static variables/
members, but that made the code much less readable. Instead I propose to add a new overload
for the ConstString comparison operator that takes a StringRef. This comparison operator directly
compares the ConstString content against the given StringRef without turning the StringRef into
a ConstString.
This means that the example above can look like this now:
```
if (extension != ".oat" && extension != ".odex")
```
It also no longer has to unlock/lock two locks and call multiple functions in other TUs for constructing
the temporary ConstString instances. Instead this should end up just being a direct string comparison
of the two given strings on most compilers.
This patch also directly updates all uses of temporary and short ConstStrings in LLDB to use this new
comparison operator. It also adds a some unit tests for the new and old comparison operator.
8b3af63b89 [NFC] Remove ASCII lines from comments
A lot of comments in LLDB are surrounded by an ASCII line to delimit the
begging and end of the comment.
Its use is not really consistent across the code base, sometimes the
lines are longer, sometimes they are shorter and sometimes they are
omitted. Furthermore, it looks kind of weird with the 80 column limit,
where the comment actually extends past the line, but not by much.
Furthermore, when /// is used for Doxygen comments, it looks
particularly odd. And when // is used, it incorrectly gives the
impression that it's actually a Doxygen comment.
I assume these lines were added to improve distinguishing between
comments and code. However, given that todays editors and IDEs do a
great job at highlighting comments, I think it's worth to drop this for
the sake of consistency. The alternative is fixing all the
inconsistencies, which would create a lot more churn.
Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM
2f93fd1f50 Represent invalid UUIDs as UUIDs with length zero
Summary:
During the previous attempt to generalize the UUID class, it was
suggested that we represent invalid UUIDs as length zero (previously, we
used an all-zero UUID for that). This meant that some valid build-ids
could not be represented (it's possible however unlikely that a checksum of
some file would be zero) and complicated adding support for variable
length build-ids (should a 16-byte empty UUID compare equal to a 20-byte
empty UUID?).
This patch resolves these issues by introducing a canonical
representation for an invalid UUID. The slight complication here is that
some clients (MachO) actually use the all-zero notation to mean "no UUID
has been set". To keep this use case working (while making it very
explicit about which construction semantices are wanted), replaced the
UUID constructors and the SetBytes functions with named factory methods.
- "fromData" creates a UUID from the given data, and it treats all bytes
  equally.
- "fromOptionalData" first checks the data contents - if all bytes are
  zero, it treats this as an invalid/empty UUID.
97206d5727 Rename Error -> Status.
This renames the LLDB error class to Status, as discussed
on the lldb-dev mailing list.
A change of this magnitude cannot easily be done without
find and replace, but that has potential to catch unwanted
occurrences of common strings such as "Error".  Every effort
was made to find all the obvious things such as the word "Error"
appearing in a string, etc, but it's possible there are still
some lingering occurences left around.  Hopefully nothing too
serious.
All references to Host and Core have been removed, so this
class can now safely be lowered into Utility.
b9c1b51e45 *** This commit represents a complete reformatting of the LLDB source code
*** to conform to clang-format’s LLVM style.  This kind of mass change has
*** two obvious implications:
Firstly, merging this particular commit into a downstream fork may be a huge
effort.  Alternatively, it may be worth merging all changes up to this commit,
performing the same reformatting operation locally, and then discarding the
merge for this particular commit.  The commands used to accomplish this
reformatting were as follows (with current working directory as the root of
the repository):
    find . \( -iname "*.c" -or -iname "*.cpp" -or -iname "*.h" -or -iname "*.mm" \) -exec clang-format -i {} +
    find . -iname "*.py" -exec autopep8 --in-place --aggressive --aggressive {} + ;
The version of clang-format used was 3.9.0, and autopep8 was 1.2.4.
Secondly, “blame” style tools will generally point to this commit instead of
a meaningful prior commit.  There are alternatives available that will attempt
to look through this change and find the appropriate prior commit.  YMMV.
13becd4f43 Move the code which knows how to get information about the shared
cache from ObjectFileMachO (very wrong place) to the DynamicLoader
plugins (better place).  Not much change to the code itself, although
the old ObjectFileMachO method would try both the new dyld SPI and
reading the dyld_all_image_infos structure.  In the new methods,
I've separated those into the appropriate DynamicLoader plugins.
9ab5dc2417 Add a new DynamicLoader plugin that uses SPI that are in development
for the fall (northern hemisphere) 2016 Darwin platforms to learn
about loaded images, instead of reading dyld internal data structures.
These new SPI don't exist on older releases, and new packets are
needed from debugserver to use them (those changes are already committed).
I had to change the minimum deployment target for debugserver in the xcode
project file to macOS 10.10 so that debugserver will use the
[[NSProcessInfo processInfo] operatingSystemVersion]
call in MachProcess::GetOSVersionNumbers to get the operarting system
version # -- this API is only available in macOS 10.10 and newer
("OS X Yosemite", released Oct 2014).  If we have many people building
llvm.org lldb on older systems still, we can back off on this for the
llvm.org sources.
There should be no change in behavior with this commit, either to
older darwin systems or newer darwin systems.
For now the new DynamicLoader plugin is never activated - I'm forcing
the old plugin to be used in DynamicLoaderDarwin::UseDYLDSPI.
I'll remove that unconditional use of the old plugin soon, so the
newer plugin is used on the newest Darwin platforms.
