This behavior matches GNU ld and seems reasonable. ``` // If a SECTIONS command is not specified .text.* -> .text .rodata.* -> .rodata .init_array.* -> .init_array ``` A proposed Linux feature CONFIG_FG_KASLR may depend on the GNU ld behavior.
